We offer a broad range of exciting and challenging courses on all three of our MSc programmes. Our staff are experts in their area of research and their interest and expertise form the base of our teaching.

You can find a list of our staff on our webpages. The new academic year will see several changes to our teaching. The majority of our courses are still available, but a small handful of courses will not be running this year. These changes are outlined below.

Sadly, we will temporarily be losing our colleagues, Bryan Roberts and Alex Voorheoeve, who go on sabbatical this year. However, we have some wonderful people joining our Department:

Weng Kin San Xinhe and Nadia Blackshaw: https://www.lse.ac.uk/philosophy/blog/2024/04/10/welcome-to-weng-kin-san-xinhe-wu-and-nadia-blackshaw/ and Suzanne Bloks will be joining us: Welcome to Suzanne Bloks! | Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method (lse.ac.uk). Please check out there profiles.

We are excited to announce the introduction of the following course this year:

PH441 Animal Minds and Animal Ethics (0.5)

However, the following courses will not be running:

PH430 Einstein for Everyone: From time travel to the edge of the universe (0.5)

PH436 Set Theory (0.5)

PH427 Genes, Brains and Society (0.5)

The full list of courses will published on the LSE calendar over the summer, usually around mid August time.
