For some of you English may not be the first language. The LSE Language Centre and LSE LIFE run several classes and workshops before and during term time for those who wish to improve their skills.
Courses vary from weekly language classes to half day courses and range from improving your pronunciation to enhancing your academic vocabulary. There is also one-to-one appointments available. Most of the services are free of charge. For a small fee you can also access services such as proof-reading your essays or dissertations.
Students who have little experience of studying philosophy in English are encouraged to attend courses on offer.
