The Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive community where all students, faculty, and staff feel valued, respected, and supported.
The Department’s EDI Committee meets regularly to discuss issues that may have arisen or items that students and staff would like to see discussed. They organise trainings for staff and work closely with other members and divisions in the School.
Once per term the committee reports back to the Department and student representatives on school-wide initiatives and the work the Department has undertaken to help making LSE an inclusive and diverse community.
Currently, the committee is lead by Anna Mahtani, who is the Department’s EDI representative. She is supported by Anika Bloomfield, Andrea Pawley, Alex Voorhoeve and Kate Vredenburgh, You can contact any of the committee members if you would like to discuss an EDI topic or for updates on what is happening in the Department.
