Dr. Sulaiman Al-Bader is an assistant professor of Finance at Kuwait University's College of Business. Sulaiman's previous research addressed the diminishing effects of pay-for-performance in compensation practices within sovereign wealth fund portfolio companies, in addition to revisiting the 'dividend smoothness puzzle' where he identifies the premium investors attribute to firms' share prices that offer high and stable dividend payouts.  Sulaiman received a PhD in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with honours from Kuwait University.
