About me

Dr Marek Troszyński is a sociologist and the director of the Observatory of Digital Civilization at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw. He specializes in media content analysis of traditional media and social media platforms. To conduct his studies, he utilizes various research methods, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Corpus Linguistics (CL), and Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). Since 2016, he has been focusing his research on the discourse surrounding Ukrainians and Ukraine in the Polish media. Dr Troszynski is also the Principal Investigator in the project "Migrants: Analysis of media discourse on migrants in Poland, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Albania, and the Czech Republic (MAD).
