About me

Aaron is a doctoral candidate in Management (Employment Relations and Human Resources) at the London School of Economics. His research interests are in two main areas: processes and performance in culturally diverse teams, and the impact of employee volunteering on individual and organisational outcomes.

Aaron’s dissertation focuses on the influence of cultural diversity on performance within teams, with papers seeking to understand the effects of cultural diversity on firm-, team-, and individual-level performance. He also explores how cultural experiences can have a long-term impact on workers’ ability to adjust to new organisations. His studies cover research contexts including executive top management teams, professional sports teams, and student project teams.

Alongside his PhD research, Aaron’s second stream of work on employee volunteering studies the positive effects of volunteering on employee’s well-being and attitudes towards work, examines the particular benefits of volunteering through one’s workplace, and seeks to explain how company volunteering programmes can be made more impactful and sustainable.

In addition to his research, Aaron also teaches on courses in Econometrics (MG205) and Management Analytics (MG107SC) within the Department of Management. He is an accredited Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Prior to joining the LSE, Aaron graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Economics and Management where he earned various prizes and awards, including a Gibb's Prize in Management and a College Scholarship.
