Dr. Xiaoran Hu is an Assistant Professor of Management at the LSE’s Department of Management. Xiaoran’s research examines the emotions and power dynamics within organisations. His research applies behavioural insights and various quantitative methods to understand what leaders and organizations can do to foster employee creativity, innovation, and well-being. His research has been published in outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal and Organization Science.

Dr. Hu received his Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour from the London Business School, his M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University in the City of New York, and his B.A. in Finance from Southeast University in China.
