Dr Chunlin Yu is an LSE Fellow in Management (Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship) at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
His research focuses on the strategic management of social innovation in different types of hybrid organizations, including social enterprises, public-private alliances, and academic-industrial partnerships. Specifically, his current research investigates the barriers and strategies for transforming conventional processes towards socially responsible ones and generating social impact in an inter-organisational collaborative way. He is also interested in investigating the characteristics of different forms of hybrid organisations and how they innovatively harness and benefit from their hybridity to tackle societal challenges.
He is a final-year PhD in strategic management at University College London (expected to graduate in September 2023). He holds a master’s degree from University College London, and a bachelor’s degree from Beijing Jiaotong University.
