We are delighted to announce that two Department of Management alumni have been named in this year's Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list. Forbes aims to honour the most innovative, creative, and driven young leaders in various industries. 

Jai Kanwar and Leonhard Soenke are both BSc Management alumni and are two of twelve LSE alumni recognised in this year’s Forbes 30 under Europe list. 

Jai Kanwar - (BSc Management 2020)

Manufacturing & Industry 

Jai is a co-founder of the freight platform, Zeus Labs. The company ensures efficient, productive, and sustainable logistics. It has reduced carbon emissions by 84 percent and raised over $2 million. Major UK supply chain partner, Wincanton, secured a deal with Zeus Labs earlier this year for exclusive UK and Ireland software rights for its digital freight management technologies. 

Leonhard Soenke (BSc Management 2019)

Retail & eCommerce 

Leonhard is a co-founder of the gifting platform, Throne. It has enabled 17 million social media users to fulfil wishlists for 500,000 content creators on social media. The gifting volume is over $83 million per year, and in 2023, the business was able to return its $800,000 seed funding to its investors. 

Candidates were evaluated by Forbes staff and a panel of independent, expert judges (including billionaire and denim powerhouse, Diesel, owner Renzo Rosso, actor Simona Tabasco, and Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah) on various factors, including funding, revenue, social impact, scale, inventiveness, and potential.
