LSE Library is famously home to the Charles Booth archive – including his legendary maps of London’s wealth and poverty. Drop in to see original Booth maps alongside some of our other historic cartographic delights!
You can also learn more from our friendly team of curators and archivists who will be on hand to answer any questions and talk more about using archives and special collections in your teaching, research or for personal interest.

About us
The British Library of Political and Economic Science (@LSELibrary) was founded in 1896, a year after the London School of Economics and Political Science. It has been based in the Lionel Robbins Building since 1978 and houses many world class collections, including The Women's Library and the Hall-Carpenter Archives.
