Bruce Braude is a Partner and Global Chief Technology Officer at Deloitte Legal. He is a recognised expert in legal technology, working at the intersection of law and digital transformation. He leads Deloitte Legal’s global digital strategy, overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to enhance legal service delivery. He also develops bespoke digital solutions for a wide range of clients, bridging the gap between traditional legal services and innovative technology-driven processes.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Bruce served as Head of Strategic Client Technology at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, a leading international law firm. In this role, he advised the firm and its major clients on legal technology strategy, process optimization, solution design, and the implementation of advanced legal technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, workflow management, and data analytics. Additionally, Bruce co-founded and led a legal tech startup incubated within the firm

Bruce is an active thought leader in legal technology, regularly contributing to industry discussions through university lectures, conference presentations, roundtables, and publications. He also served on the Law Society of England and Wales'  Technology and Law Committee.

Bruce holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
