10 years after joining LSE, Michael Bridge retired last year from the Cassel Chair for Commercial Law. Michael is long established as one of the leading thinkers and commentators on commercial law in the common law world, and his seminal contributions to the field have been provocative and inspiring. This symposium invites its audience to engage with and debate Michael’s ideas in the fields of contract, sale, international transactions and property and security, kicked off by some thoughts and comments by some of his friends and colleagues.
