About me

Katherine is an MPhil/PhD candidate in the Department of International Relations at the London School of Economics (LSE), where her research is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. Katherine is also an Associate Fellow at the Centre for European Reform where she works on EU-Africa relations. She was Deputy Editor for Vol. 51 for Millennium: Journal of International Studies.

Katherine holds a BA in History and Politics from Magdalen College, Oxford and an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe. Prior to doctoral study she was a researcher on EU foreign and security policy in Africa and worked on civilian crisis response at the Council of the EU.
