After completing my PhD at LSE, and teaching for two years in the Department of International Relations, I moved to the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) in 2008. I am an Associate Professor and have been Head of Studies for ten years. I have been PI in a number of EU research projects, including the recently completed ENGAGE. My research draws on International Relations theory to research the role and actions of the European Union across the UN system, as well as the evolving forms of governance structures.
