The ITPU is coordinating a consortium of research centres to fulfil a framework contract for the Policy Department of the External Affairs of the European Union Directorate of the European Parliament. This research supports the work of the European Parliament's International Trade Committee (INTA). The LSE-led consortium includes: the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) (Brussels), Maastricht University (Maastricht), the Deutsches Institut fuer Wirtschaftsforschung (Koeln), Trinity College (Dublin), the Overseas Development Institute (London) and the University of Parma (Parma).
