LSE ID Events
Alums are invited to all LSE ID events, even the events we host, which are advertised for students and staff, including the Cutting Edge Issues in Development Thinking & Practice guest lecture series. A complete list of our events can be found here. This is a great opportunity to network with other LSE alumns, staff and current students. We also welcome alumns to join us for post-event socials.
Please email intdev.comms@lse.ac.uk if you would like to reserve a space at any of these events and to find out more. Please include with your full name, programme and year of graduation.
Department Blog
We are always keen to platform the work of our alumns on the International Development Blog. Please intdev.comms@lse.ac.uk if you would like to share issues, research, experiences and free-form thinking about international development issues.
International Development Research Newsletter
The Department of International Development circulates a bi-monthly LSE ID Research Newsletter. Content includes: news and updates from LSE ID research projects from within the department; recent publications, forthcoming papers, policy briefings, white papers and working papers; podcasts; blogs; and a listing of upcoming international events where ID staff will be presenting. If you would like to share any news, please email intdev.comms@lse.ac.uk.
Social Media
Alumni are invited to keep in touch with their classmates by joining our ever growing Department of International Development LinkedIn page. You can also follow our department updates on X, BlueSky and Instagram. Send us your updates and if we can publicise them, we will!
ID Student Organisers
The ID Student Organisers coordinate a number of events through out the academic year and would be delighted for input and involvement from former students. Please contact intdev.comms@lse.ac.uk if you are able to help out.
LSE Alumni Association
LSE has alumni groups around the world and an extensive programme of events in London. Additional benefits include the biannual alumni magazine LSE Connect and access to the Careers Services, the Library, and the Alumni Professional Mentoring Network. For more, see LSE Alumni.
