About the author

Matteo Dian is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Political Sciences ‘Roberto Ruffilli’ of the University of Bologna. He received his PhD in Political Science from the Italian Institute of Human Sciences in Florence. Previously, he was a visiting research student at LSE IDEAS, and a visiting graduate student at the European University Institute and at the Paul H. Nitze SAIS, Johns Hopkins University.
