This report follows the first annual workshop which was hosted by the Central and South-East Europe Programme Desk on 17 and 18 June 2019 at the Political Science Faculty of Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
We present seven original research contributions. Each paper emphasises developments that take place or impact Central and Eastern Europe in a different way. Contributions include:
- the cultural gap between Western and Eastern Europe
- religion, gender and society
- polycentric global order
- economic nationalism
