Benedetta Berti (@benedettabertiw) is Head of the Policy Planning Unit in the Office of the Secretary General at NATO, a position she has held since 2018. An Eisenhower Global Fellow and a TED Senior Fellow, Benedetta is also Associate Researcher at the Institute for European Studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussels and a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. In the past, she has held positions at West Point, the Institute for National Security Studies and Tel Aviv University, among others.

Andy Salmon helps build inspiring journeys to a better life, through applying a mix of story, music, art and culture to corporate senior-leadership and conflict scenarios. Before that, he spent 36 years in the Royal Marines and was a former Commandant General, Head of Service. He saw front-line service in myriad conflicts and applied a Human Security approach as Commanding General Coalition Forces in SE Iraq, 2008-9. He was Director of Force Generation and Readiness in SHAPE and built their new crisis management centre in 2011/12. He champions Human Security with Mary Kaldor and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
