About

Jess Ayers is the CEO of Quadrature Climate Foundation, a science-led philanthropy focused on unlocking the critical climate solutions needed to avert and manage climate impacts for the most vulnerable. She has worked on the climate challenge for nearly two decades, as a strategist, political advisor, and convenor, in roles across government, the third sector, the UN, and philanthropy. 

Background

Jess holds a PhD in Climate Change and Development (LSE/ICCCAD); and MSc’s in Environment and Development, and Public Policy (both LSE). She was an IPCC contributing author and expert reviewer on climate risk, adaptation and vulnerability in the IPCC’s fourth and fifth assessment reports.
