Christian Arnstedt (MSc Finance 2010) has been named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 for Europe in 2018.
The prestigious list, compiled by business magazine Forbes, features 300 young visionaries, entrepreneurs and leaders has across a diverse list of categories, including finance, technology and entertainment.
Christian was awarded his place on the list due to his role as co-founder of Blazar Capital, a company developing ideas for new global businesses. Blazar Capital focuses on vertical e-commerce companies in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector and plans to launch twenty companies by 2020.
Upon graduation from the MSc Finance, Christian joined McKinsey in Copenhagen. He was promoted during his career at McKinsey, ultimately to Associate Partner (Associate Principal) before leaving in the summer of 2017 to start Blazar Capital.
Dr Dirk Jenter, Programme Director for MSc Finance, welcomed the news commenting that “it is always wonderful to see an alumni putting the tools learned in the MSc to such great use.”

Outstanding LSE representation
This year’s Forbes list is dominated by LSE alumni and students, with a total of fifteen LSE alumni and one LSE current student making it onto the prestigious list. Christian is joined in the ‘Finance’ category by two other LSE alumni and one LSE student.
