LSE has been awarded funding from the ESRC to appoint four Postdoc Fellows for the 2024/25 academic year. The European Institute is looking for a candidate to support, to be based in the department. The scheme is open to both internal and external candidates.
We are interested in hearing from candidates whose research touches on one of the EI’s four research themes.
Applicants must have have been awarded a PhD or have passed their viva voce with minor amendments by the application deadline of 16 May 2024, and have been awarded their PhD by the fellowship start date of 1 October 2024.
Applicants must also have no more than 12 months of active postdoctoral experience since passing their viva voce (allowing for career breaks) by 16 May 2024.
Further details about the programme, and answers to Frequently Asked Questions, can be found here.
Interested parties should contact Jonathan White, European Institute Deputy Head (Research) and Carl Ludwig-Campbell, European Institute Manager in the first instance at ei.manager@lse.ac.uk with a draft proposal by no later than 4pm (UK time) on Tuesday 30 April 2024.
We will support applications approved by an internal panel, which must then be submitted to the School by no later than 4pm (UK time) on Thursday 16 May 2024.
