Elena is a PhD candidate at LSE’s European Institute. Elena’s research focuses on political identities and political behaviour in the European context. She is particularly interested in the subjective dimension of political identities, as well as their operationalisation and measurement.
Elena’s broader research interests include social psychology, sociology (social cleavage theory), and the implementation of mixed-methods research designs (social network analysis).
She holds an MSc in Social Research Methods from the LSE and a BA in History and International Relations from the University of Exeter.
Elena’s studies are funded by an LSE Studentship.
