About me

Oda Nedregård is a Visiting Fellow at the LSE European Institute. She is also a Bruno Latour Fellow at Sciences Po’s Department of Economics. In her research, she studies the behavior of political elites, with a particular emphasis on how electoral institutions are shaping the incentives facing legislators. In addition, she has a large research agenda in climate change politics and teaches students at Sciences Po about the political economy of climate change. Oda holds a PhD in Economics from BI Norwegian Business School. Two years of the PhD were spent at Harvard University as a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Government. In her dissertation, she used Natural Language Processing to study the behaviour of political elites, with a focus on how political parties are functioning as intermediaries between voters and politicians.
