Natalie is the Student Experience and Engagement Coordinator at the European Institute. She is responsible for organising student engagement activities throughout the year and for helping to build and strengthen the EI student community. She works closely with student representatives to improve student experience. She also assists with the coordination and planning of the professional skills programme.

Natalie moved to London in 2021 and joined the EI in July 2022. In December 2022, she defended her PhD thesis (Witchcraft in Print in Early Modern Germany and England), which she completed with the Department of History at the University of Nottingham. Natalie developed a keen interest in student engagement and experience during her doctoral studies. She was the Postgraduate Research Course Rep for her department between 2019 and 2020 and helped to create new initiatives to foster research collaboration and community. From September 2020 to July 2021, she was the Publicity Officer for the Institute of Historical Research History Lab, the national network for UK-based History postgraduates.

In her free time, Natalie enjoys swimming (especially in the sea or at Hampstead Heath Bathing Ponds), walking, camping, and theatre trips. She can read German and is hoping to improve her spoken and written ability. During the pandemic, she took up embroidery and sewing, and is currently on a mission to decorate all of her clothes.
