We host a Treasure Hunt at the start of the academic year to help you familiarise yourself with our campus and the local area. A trail of clues leads you on a historical journey around some of London’s most well-known landmarks. Working together as a team, you uncover hidden gems in and around our LSE campus with fellow students. At the same time, you experience the beauty of London on foot and develop new connections with your cohort.

At LSE Department of Economics, we love organising a variety of events! On a lovely sunny evening during Welcome 2025, we took students on a Thames River Boat Cruise with food and drinks, networking, spectacular views and lots of dancing. It was a great way to kick off the academic year!

In early Autumn Term 2025/26, we headed to Fairgame Canary Wharf for a fun-filled games experience evening. With plenty of great food, drinks and prizes to win, it was the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy time together!

To wrap up the Autumn Term and mark the end of the year, we brought our MSc students together for a festive MSc Christmas Social at the Law Society London. Our master’s students braved the chill to join us for plenty of drinks, dancing, and holiday cheer. It was a very merry occasion and a wonderful way to see in the end of term!
