Marie is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. Her primary research interests are Macroeconomics, Financial Economics, and Monetary Economics. Marie holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. Before joining the programme, she was employed as a Trainee at the German Development Bank KfW and did internships at the OECD Development Co-operation Directorate, BCG, and McKinsey. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the LSE on topics in Financial Economics and is currently a PhD Intern at the Bank of England.
