Ignacio is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics, where he received an MRes in Economics in 2022 and an MPA in Public and Economic Policy in 2019. Prior to starting his PhD, Ignacio worked as a pre-doctoral researcher at Bocconi University (IGIER), and as a policy economist at the European Central Bank (ECB) and at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). His main research interests are in environmental and development economics, with a focus on clean energy, sustainable cities, industrial, and urban policies.
