Hamza is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics. He is from India where he did his undergraduate and Masters degrees. After Masters, he worked at HSBC as a Risk Analyst for two years. Thereafter, joined J-PAL South Asia and worked there for three years, initially as a Senior Research Associate and then as a Research Manager. His research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, development and conflict.
