Marina is is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics at LSE. Her primary research interests are macroeconomics and public economics. 

Marina holds a BSc and a MSc in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics. Before joining the Department, she worked as a predoctoral research assistant in the Centre For Macroeconomics under Jonathon Hazell, Ben Moll and Ricardo Reis. She has also been employed as an intern at the Portuguese Central Bank in the Financial Stability Department, and as both a research assistant and a teaching assistant at the Nova School of Business and Economics.
