Marina is a MRes candidate on the MRes/PhD in Economics in the Department of Economics. Her main research interests are macroeconomics and public economics.
Marina holds a BSc and a MSc in Economics from Nova School of Business and Economics, where she worked as a teaching assistant on mathematics and macroeconomics courses. After graduating from Nova in 2020, she interned at the Portuguese Central Bank in the Financial Stability Department, assisting on projects and tasks related to the countercyclical capital buffer (CCyB). Before joining the programme, she worked as a predoctoral Research Assistant in the Centre For Macroeconomics at LSE, under Professors Jonathon Hazell, Benjamin Moll and Ricardo Reis.
