The SOCRATES programme rapidly evaluates some new services and changes in social care for adults and children. 

Current evaluations underway include:

Digital Social Care Records Evaluation (DiSCRE)

Evaluating the implementation of digital social care records

This evaluation is about how digital or electronic records are being used when adults are receiving care in their own homes or in care homes. This evaluation aims to help organisations that provide care for adults to use digital care records in a way that could deliver the greatest benefit for the most people.

Sharing the Right Information on Men (SRIM)

Agencies working together to keep children safe and share the right information: working with men

Policy reports and guidance have indicated the importance of information sharing across agencies and between professionals to improve safeguarding arrangements. The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of models of information sharing to provide guidance to local authorities and other agencies.
