Margrieta Langins is a researcher at CPEC and a policy advisor to the WHO Regional Office for Europe in Copenhagen, Denmark. A trained nurse and former fellow at the International Foundation for Integrated Care, Margrieta has worked in the international health field for more than 15 years. Her work at the WHO Regional Office for Europe has involved working at the crossroads between the workforce and health services delivery, both for long-term care service and primary health care.
During her career, Maggie has worked in the Czech Republic, Croatia, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, the Republic of Moldova, and Uzbekistan. She has a particular interest in the role of different stakeholders in supporting the health and care workforce to advance progress towards universal health coverage.
