Javiera Menchaca is the Programme Manager for the Academic Consulting Accelerator Programme at LSE Consulting. In her role, she contributes to research design, business development, and project management across various policy and socioeconomic topics.

She is responsible for writing and coordinating project proposals for public and private sector clients, academics, experts, and partner organisations. As a project manager, Javiera supports academic teams in meeting project requirements and maintains relationships with clients. In her research capacity, she undertakes desk research, qualitative research, participatory methods, and analysis, as well as report writing.

With over 8 years of experience in consultancy and research, Javiera's primary interests lie in projects related to Gender, Women's rights and participation, Social Inequalities, and Social Determinants of Health.

She holds an MA in Gender, Society, and Representation from UCL and a BA in Sociology from Universidad de Chile. Additionally, she is fluent in English and Spanish.
