Raj Singh is an entrepreneur, and CEO and founder of MindHug, a revolutionary mental health innovation company. Raj founded MindHug in 2019, with a bold mission – to be the bridge between technological, therapeutic, and pharmaceutical interventions and those who need them most. Through personalised mental health and wellbeing treatments, MindHug aims to make mental health and wellbeing more accessible, affordable, and more personalised than ever before.

Prior to MindHug, Raj spent nearly a decade in financial services in the city of London, mostly at the Bank of England and Financial Regulators. Raj then made the decision to shift gears and pursue his love for innovation full time. He went on to complete an MSc degree in Entrepreneurship at UCL.

Having previously overcome his own mental health challenges, Raj ultimately decided to channel his passion for mental wellbeing, medicine, social impact and entrepreneurship into something truly ground-breaking and the idea for MindHug was born. “Like many LSE alumni, I was motivated to make a difference, not only because I recovered from my own mental health challenges, but also because it was exciting! The mind is the final frontier, not space, and we are aiming to conquer it.”

Raj is a Founder in Residence at LSE Generate. He proudly participated in LSE Generate’s Accelerator program for entrepreneurial students and alumni. He is also an advisor and board member for several startups in innovative domains such as immersive media, AR/VR, blockchain, NFTs, and cryptocurrency.
