Harry-Barkema

Harry Barkema is a Professor of Strategy, Social Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at the LSE. He is the Founding Director of LSE's Social Innovation Lab for Human Flourishing. He earlier founded and directed the MSc. programme in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the LSE. His research and knowledge-exchange programs focus on purpose-driven organisations (shared value), meaningful work, and social impact for marginalised groups in Africa and South Asia. He splits his time evenly between the global North and South.

Dr Lamees Tanveer is a phenomenologist specialising in gender, work, and well-being in emerging markets across Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. She serves as the Associate Director of the Social Innovation Lab for Human Flourishing and leads Firmly, an evidence-based platform advancing workplace gender equity.
