Lesley is the Africa Engagement Programme Officer at the Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa.
Her work at the Institute focuses on supporting the development of strategic partnerships with African institutions, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as implementing and delivering a range of activities to generate opportunities for LSE students and alumni.
Prior to joining LSE, Lesley led on projects focused on engaging, supporting and promoting the needs of junior and employed barristers at The Bar Council. She also implemented the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission’s student engagement strategy at the Association of Commonwealth Universities and has experience developing and managing training schemes and programmes for academics and legal professionals.
Lesley holds an LLB (Law) from Anglia Ruskin University and an LLM in International Law from the University of Sussex. She is passionate about engagement and community building as a mode of effecting change and having lasting impact.
