MSc Summative Extension Requests

"Extension requests must be submitted before the deadline of the work for which the request is made"

For MSc students enrolled on courses in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science only

To request an extension for a SUMMATIVE piece of MSc coursework, please fill in the form below and attach any supportive evidence. Please refer to the 'Standards of Evidence' table before uploading your supporting documentation.

Extension requests must be submitted before the deadline of the work for which the request is made. Extension requests cannot be considered retrospectively. If the deadline has passed, you should submit an Exceptional Circumstances (EC) form which will be considered by the Exam Board when considering your overall marks and degree classification.

If you have worked with the Disability and Mental Health Service and have an Adjustments plan in place, you do not need to fill out the online form. Instead, please email your Programme Manager directly to arrange an extension.

When you submit an extension request you give permission for it to be reviewed by the following LSE staff members:

Dr Miriam Tresh (PBS Deputy Head of Department for Teaching)
Christopher Roberts (MSc Programme Manager)
Will Stubbs (MSc Programme Manager)
Ryan Edmonds (Departmental Senior Student Advisor)

If you have any questions regarding extension requests, please contact your Programme Manager at pbs.msc@lse.ac.uk
