Alessia Tosi is a Data Scientist in the UK public sector, and a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She specialises in Natural Language Processing, Large Language Model applications, text analytics and in understanding users’ online behaviour. Alessia is interested and experienced in working at the interface of data science, problem solving and behavioural science with the aim to understand people’s attitudes and users’ behavioural barriers to service accessibility, and to improve user experience. She is an expert in using data and experiments to evaluate new products and services. Alessia completed her PhD in Cognitive Psychology, with a focus on language processing, at the University of Edinburgh.
