This course has been designed as an entry level course to give you a better insight into photography, and provide a better understanding on how the relationship between aperture, ISO and shutter speed work together and with guidance on composition and light you can improve your photography.

The course is a total of 6 hours during Michaelmas Term using Hybrid classroom teaching.

Although this is not an assessed course you will be asked to provide brief examples of your own photography to confirm understanding of the principles and to highlight your progress in an online LSE gallery.

At the end of the term you'll be asked to participate in a voluntary competition where your images will be judged against your fellow student submisions. In addition to the three winners selected by the judging panel, one image will be selected by a peoples choice vote.  Winners will be announced at the end of Michaelmas Term at the department Reception.
