LSEE Research on South Eastern Europe at the London School of Economics organised a Research Workshop on the Economics of the Western Balkans on 24-25 June 2019 at the LSE. The workshop aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas between scholars currently undertaking research on the Western Balkan economies.
Scholars in all stages of career, as well as both theoretical and empirical contributions across all fields of economics, were welcomed. Each paper was allocated up to 45 minutes divided between the presentation and a discussion.
We offered the possibility of publishing selected contributions in the LSEE Discussion Papers on South Eastern Europe.
Local organisers were Vassilis Monastiriotis and Ivan Zilic.
