Dr Sandeep Kumar Kujur is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. He received his PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has been a visiting faculty member at the Department of Business Management, Central University of Odisha, Koraput, and a visiting fellow at the Department of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata. His research is in the cross-cutting domains of Industrial Economics, Economics of Technological Change, and Labor and Development Economics. During his visit to LSE, Dr. Kujur will focus on advanced industrial technologies and their impact on the informalisation and defeminisation of labour in India’s manufacturing.
