Gaston Yalonetzky is Associate Professor of Economics at the Leeds University Business School and Research Associate at the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative. He works on distributional analysis and the measurement of wellbeing, with a keen interest in the development process. He has advised and written technical reports for the Peruvian Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, the Brazilian Ministry of Citizenship, the Asian Development Bank and the United Nation’s Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. His work has been published in leading journals of distributional analysis and development, including Journal of Development Economics, World Bank Economic Review, World Development, Social Choice and Welfare, Review of Income and Wealth, Journal of Economic Inequality, among others.
