Dr. Ashish Dongare is The Sir Ratan Tata Postdoc Fellow at LSE. He works as Asst. General Manager with Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) - Pension Regulator for India. Presently, he is overseeing various aspects related to Atal Pension Yojana -a flagship pension scheme of Govt. of India. Earlier, he has handled critical portfolios at PFRDA which includes supervision and policy matters of pension funds, development of National Pension System, etc. He has more than 14 years of experience in financial and capital market sector including 10 years of service at Pension Regulator.  He has been member of various committees and working groups including inter-regulatory committees.  

He possesses a doctorate degree in the faculty of commerce and management. His area of interest for research includes insurance, pension, social protection etc. His present research focuses on developing the measures for assessing the social security framework which can be used across jurisdiction.
