Pathways to a PhD in International History

Hosted by the Department of International History

Public Event: online and CBG 1.06, United Kingdom

Would you like to continue studying history after you graduate?

Have you ever thought about a PhD? Would you like to know more about what one entails and how to apply? If yes, please come along to this in-person/hybrid event on different pathways to a PhD. Run by the Department of International History’s PhD Programme Director, Dr Tanya Harmer, the event will address what doing a PhD entails, how/when to apply and what students who graduate with a PhD have gone on to do. She will be joined by current PhD students and alumni of our programme who will also share their own insights. This is a perfect opportunity to meet them, talk informally about your interests and ask any questions you may have about postgraduate study and research. All welcome!

The Department of International History (@lsehistory) teaches and conducts research on the international history of Britain, Europe and the world from the early modern era up to the present day.

From time to time there are changes to event details so we strongly recommend that if you plan to attend this event you check back on this listing on the day of the event.
