Project Coordinator and Principal Researcher: Dr Paschalis Arvanitidis
Duration: September 2018 - September 2020
Overview
The study sets forth to understand the complex spatial relations among refugees and asylum seekers (RAS), existing immigrant communities and the native population. By exploring the patterns of residential distribution of various immigrant groups in two different cities which host such populations (Larisa and Katerini), its aims to shed light on the segregation dynamics urban Greece undergoes and as such to inform of the integration possibilities of all immigrants and the cohesion of the society as a whole.
