Overview
This research project examines the rise of non-standard forms of employment relationship in Cyprus and the factors that determine the expansion of precarity during and after the economic crisis and the current COVID-19 pandemic, asking how precarity is likely to be accentuated in the post-pandemic era. The project further measures the impacts of labour insecurity and analyses how precarity is experienced by different categories of workers in Cyprus, with the aim to reveal the intersections between class, gender, citizenship/minority belonging, and precariousness.
