Dr Sotirios Zartaloudis is an Associate Professor in Comparative European Politics in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at University of Birmingham. Previously, he was Lecturer in Politics at Loughborough University and Lecturer in International Politics at Politics, University of Manchester. He holds a PhD in European Studies and an MSc in European Politics and Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Sociology from University of Crete, Greece. His research lies at the intersection of comparative politics and comparative political economy with emphasis on the European Union (EU), Europeanisation, and the Eurozone crisis. His publications include a monograph with Palgrave Macmillan and has published in journals such as the European Journal of Political Research, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Public Policy, Social Policy and Administration and Politics and Governance. He has extensive teaching experience in comparative European politics and the European Union and international political economy at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
