About me

Ioannis Laliotis is an Assistant Professor of Applied Microeconomics in the Department of Economics at the University of Patras. He earned his degree in Economics from the University of Patras and later pursued further studies at Cardiff University. He was awarded a PhD in Economics from the University of Patras, with a thesis focusing on the institutional framework and wage structures in Greece. Dr Laliotis joined the University of Surrey as a Postdoctoral Researcher and later worked as a Researcher at the Hellenic Observatory of the London School of Economics. Subsequently, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at City, University of London, where he taught several graduate courses and served as the Director of two graduate programs. Dr Laliotis has been involved in various funded projects related to the labor market, healthcare workforce, and the educational system.

Research interests: Labour market, Structure of wages and collective bargaining, Health economics, Healthcare workforce, Applied microeconomics.
