She also employs machine learning and causal inference techniques to disentangle the perceived and actual impact of recent immigration waves on local economies in Greece. Her work has been published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Politics, the IRL Review, and the Journal of Policy Modeling, and has been funded by bodies including the AUEB, the European Union, and the National Bank of Greece. Eleni actively disseminates her research findings through various outlets such as LSE Europp, Yale ICL, To BHMA, Oikonomikos Taxydromos, and ELIAMEP.
