Brick by brick: crafting communities with data science and the LEGO Group | LSE Festival Family Day

Hosted by LSE Festival: Power and Politics

Centre Building Ground Floor

Join us for an exciting adventure in creativity as we delve into the world of data science and urban design!

What's the Plan? Get ready to unleash your imagination as you embark on a mission to construct your very own dream neighbourhood! Armed with building boards and boxes bursting with Lego you'll have the power to bring your vision to life.

Design parks, schools, shops, and more, whether you dream of towering skyscrapers or lush green spaces, the possibilities are endless!

With the help of experts, you'll transform your masterpiece into a visual graph, turning your whimsical creations into valuable data. See how your dream neighbourhood stacks up in the real world and discover how data can make sense of it all!

Don't miss out on this exciting family day activity where imagination knows no bounds and the future of our cities is in your hands. See you there!

40-minute sessions at 10am, 11am and 12noon will be open to children aged 8 to 12 years and their carers. *All sessions are now fully booked.*
